Motorola is expected to announce the new Moto G5 Plus in March this year, and little information has been known about the upcoming device until recently. It seems that the specifications and live images of the Moto G5 Plus have been leaked.

Interestingly, an OLX user from Romania sold a Moto G5 Plus phone for $387. OLX Romania is one of the largest online marketplaces in the country, very similar to Craigslist in the US. The seller revealed a list of specifications and live images of the phone, which bears the model number XT1685.
The listing has been “taken down,” meaning the phone has been sold. However, the price they posted is not the official price for the phone. One interesting piece of information is the “Motorola Confidential Property, Not for Sale” sign on the phone, indicating that this unit could be a prototype meant for testing purposes.
It could very well be a beta , meaning Motorola could make changes before the global launch. That seems likely, given that the phone appears to have microUSB and most manufacturers these days are using USB Type-C.
The spec list includes a 5.5-inch 1080p display and an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor. The phone also appears to have a fingerprint scanner, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a 3,080mAh battery. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat and features a 13MP camera on the back, with a 5MP selfie camera on the front.
The leaked photos reveal a design similar to another one that Motorola is working on, the Moto X that will be announced later this year. It's possible that Motorola has roughly the same design for both phones, but is incorporating the high-end specs for the Moto X, seeing as it's rumored to come with a dual-lens camera setup on the back. The Moto G5 Plus is said to be announced in March, while the Moto X (2017) could be unveiled during MWC in February.
