Asus unveiled two impressive phones during CES 2017, the ZenFone AR and ZenFone 3 Zoom. Asus is preparing to announce another exciting smartphone, the ZenFone 4.
Asus is expected to unveil a new smartphone at the upcoming MWC 2017 event in late February. The ZenFone 4 recently appeared in a listing on GFXBench revealing some specs for the upcoming phone, according to Android Soul.
The smartphone is shown with a 5.7-inch display with an impressive Quad HD resolution, which translates to 2560 x 1440 pixels. It also appears to run Qualcomm Snapdragon 8200 SoC, a chipset that featured many flagship initiatives that were released last year.
The list of impressive specs continues with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage for the upcoming ZenFone 4. Users may be able to add more storage with a microSD card, but that remains to be determined.
In terms of camera capabilities, the ZenFone 4 appears to feature a 21Mp rear camera and an 8MP selfie snapper on the front. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat and could receive a 7.1 Nougat update sometime after its release.
Asus could offer the ZenFone 4 in multiple variants with different internal storage and RAM inside, we're just waiting for the official announcement to confirm that. Reports from last month stated that Asus could announce the ZenFone on May 4, but recent rumors suggest that the unveiling will take place in late February.
