Many fans have high hopes for Rocksteady 's upcoming game , Suicide Squad : Kill the Justice League – a recent leaked screenshot shows that its main menu looks like the matchmaking lobby of Call of Duty Warzone. It's been almost eight years since Rocksteady's Batman trilogy ended, and just a few months since Warner Bros Montreal 's Gotham Knights , which was met with mixed reviews. The leaked screenshot of Suicide Squad:Kill the Justice League first appeared on the site 4chan, was initially shared on Reddit and by Tuesday had spread to Twitter.
The photo you will see below, shows Captain Boomerang, Harley Quinn, King Shark and Deadshot together in what appears to be the main menu of Suicide Squad.
The menu includes options between: matchmaking, difficulty setting and choosing the chapter you want to play.
What we highlighted at the top is “Looks” which is the place to change the skin cosmetics of the characters. The other is the “Store” and “Battle Pass”. Below the characters we also see two numbers.
According to the page VGC –VideoGamesChronicle-, the leaked screenshot is real and comes from a recent test build of the game.
However, an insider who is in the development of the game, stated that the battle pass and the coins seen in the screenshot are not only for cosmetic items, but also for the progression of the skill tree respectively.
However, there are many questions about how much live service elements and monetization (sources of revenue) will be in this action game.
Will there be only cosmetic skins as additional content for players, or will it be similar to Gotham Knights, which relies heavily on “numbers” and constant grinding * like other co-op loot shooters?
* (grind – the act of repeating an action or set of actions to achieve a desired result, such as collecting xp for levels)

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The game is set in the same “universe” as the Arkham games, and you’ll be able to play solo, but recent gameplay footage suggests that there will be a greater emphasis on the multiplayer experience.
While it focuses on former Arkham Asylum inmates battling a “Justice League” controlled by Brainiac, it’s not yet clear how the game will be structured.
We don’t know how large the explorable map will be, or whether the game will focus on grinding for XP or progressing through the story like a traditional single-player campaign.
There have been several reports of players “fearing” that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be similar to other recent games, such as Anthem, Marvel’s Avengers, Outriders, and Gotham Knights.
Fans are concerned that the game will rely on constant grinding. The natural consequence of this is that you’ll have to navigate sub-menus in the menu, rather than playing the fun part of the game. Let's hope that's not the case with Suicide Squad.
We first heard about the game in August 2020.
It was originally scheduled for release in 2022, but the release date was later changed to '23.
According to the latest news, it's expected to be released on May 26th.
