The much-talked-about HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play were announced today by HTC. While they follow the same design format as the U series, they appear to have different specifications with some similar features.
The HTC U Ultra is available for pre-order on HTC’s website for €703.88. Shipments will begin in mid-March 2017 and the price includes HTC’s Rapid Charger 3.0 with USB Type-C cable, HTC Clear Case and HTC’s USonic Adaptive earphones. You have the opportunity to get it in one of three available colors: Sapphire Blue, Ice White and Shiny Classic Black.
It features a 5.7-inch display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution combined with a 4GB RAM and 64 or 128 GB internal memory. It is also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating on the front and back. Let us inform you that the version with 128GB internal memory will be released later and will be priced at 855.18 euros.
The HTC U Play, on the other hand, is priced at 413.49 euros and will offer 3GB of RAM. The final price for the version with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory has not yet been announced. However, both models are set to be released in the coming weeks.
HTC 's U series comes with the slogan "It's All About U" and refers to the new smartphones' focus on the personalization options offered to users, for example allowing them to adjust the device's sound according to their preferences.
