Apple announced the launch of the Apple Vision Pro headset on February 2 with 256GB of built-in storage .
According to information from Xcode 15.2, it will have 16 GB of RAM. Although there are hints of additional storage, the company has not yet confirmed details. However, development tools indicate that versions with up to 1 TB of storage may be released. The starting price will be $3,499 (~3,188 €) for the version with 256 GB of storage.

Storage seems to be a key feature of the Apple Vision Pro. It’s not just being touted for its ability to run productivity apps, but also for its impressive performance , including spatial videos shot with the iPhone 15 Pro models. Recently, Apple mentioned the wide range of games available for the Vision Pro, including immersive games with spatial content. While some of these apps and videos will stream through the headset, others will be stored directly on the Vision Pro.
It's possible that Apple didn't discuss storage options and additional pricing in order to avoid highlighting the fact that some models of the headset may cost more than the listed price of $3,499. That price has already sparked backlash from people who wonder if the Vision Pro is too expensive for most potential buyers.
