As we reported in a previous article, Nokia and Apple are in court over a patent dispute. Apple recently decided to stop selling all products belonging to the Finnish company for the duration of the legal dispute.

It makes sense that consumers will no longer be able to purchase Withings products from the Apple Store. For those who don't know, Nokia recently acquired Withings, which offers a range of premium devices including scales and thermometers that can connect to iPhones.
It is not yet clear whether Apple intends to review its product catalog, given the battle with Nokia.
On the other hand, MacRumors notes that applications developed with Withings are still available in the App Store, but because there is a possibility of their being blocked, it would be a good idea for those interested to install them as soon as possible.
Nokia has sued Apple in the United States and Germany for infringement of some of its patents. The two companies have been working together since 2011, but Apple has apparently violated the terms of their agreement by abusing its rights. “While it was agreed to license certain patents from our portfolio, Apple, despite declining subsequent offers, continues to use them in its products,” a Nokia spokesperson said.
