Pornhub made an offer on Twitter for the 6-second video service Vine.
Now that we all know that Twitter is ending its 6-second video service, Pornhub has emerged as the most unlikely buyer for Vine. Earlier on Thursday, the popular micro-blogging site announced the end of its Vine video service, and Pornhub seems to have found a new outlet for its NSFW videos.
Immediately after the announcement of Vine's demise, the website rushed to save the service. In a letter, Pornhub VP Corey Price asked Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to buy the rights to Vine.
Price also told Dorsey that he would rebrand Vine to its “NSFW glory.” The addition of the service is perfect for his needs. A “six-second porn clip” is more than enough for most people to enjoy.
The letter does not disclose the details of the price Pornhub is willing to pay for Vine. Twitter has not made any statement about it. Pornhub is known to like to be in the public eye whenever there is news. It recently announced a $50,000 reward for information about Kim Kardashian's robbers. Kim Kardashian's hotel room in Paris was broken into by unknown robbers, who stole $11 million worth of jewelry, including the $4.35 million engagement ring given to her by her husband, Kanye West.
It has also announced that its 360-degree VR videos will work on the recently announced PlayStation VR headset, which will retail for around $400. Pornhub wants to have a head start in the highly anticipated world of VR, as all the tech companies have started releasing VR content.
