Quantum Dot Color makes the difference technology

Technological performance

To take advantage of the excellent color quality, the newest member of the E – Line series features IPS – ADS technology for additional image clarity, Full HD resolution with 1920 x 1080 pixels as well as an exceptionally wide viewing angle of 178 degrees. Philips Smart technologies also complement the color performance with enhanced contrast and brightness: SmartImage Lite dynamically enhances contrast, color saturation and sharpness to match what is displayed on the screen. SmartControl Lite is a quick and easy-to-use tool for optimizing the display parameters. SmartContrast automatically adjusts color, contrast and backlight intensity, making the viewing experience even more intense and immersive. And for additional performance, the 5 ms SmartResponse creates an even faster response time ideal for fast-paced applications such as gaming .

Another notable feature for home users is MHL: users can easily connect their mobile devices to the display using an optional MHL and enjoy their mobile content on a much larger screen with Full HD resolution, excellent sound from the built-in speakers, and the color fidelity of Quantum Dot Color.
