A significant speed increase for the current devolo dLAN 1200 adapter series is now available with a new free firmware update. New and existing customers can improve the performance of their adapters by up to 20% on any model in the devolo dLAN 1200 series. 
In addition, the WiFi wireless function and stability of the top model in the series, dLAN® 1200+ WiFi ac, are further improved.
20% performance increase on all devolo dLAN 1200 series adapters
The new firmware update, which is immediately available for free download (www.devolo.de), increases the bandwidth of the devolo dLAN® 1200+ and dLAN® 1200+ WiFi ac by an average of 20%. In addition, its installation significantly increases the Powerline performance of the top adapters in the series, dLAN® 1200+ WiFi ac, while further improving the operation and stability of the wireless signal.
Powerline LED status display upgrade
The new limit on the Powerline LED, which lights up red instead of white when indicating a poor connection, is now set to 20 Mbps (up from 8 Mbps) on both models in the series. devolo made this change in recognition of the increased demands of a modern home network.
Automatic update of the devolo Cockpit software
devolo offers the “devolo Cockpit” software as an ergonomic alternative for automatically downloading and installing firmware updates. The software is available free of charge for devolo customers at www.devolo.de and offers many additional functions, such as monitoring the connection quality between individual dLAN® adapters. In addition to useful tips for increasing bandwidth, devolo Cockpit automatically updates the firmware on all dLAN® adapters installed in a home network, allowing the user to enjoy their Powerline network after simple installation, knowing that their system will always be up to date with the latest software.

The devolo dLAN 1200+ and devolo dLAN 1200+ WiFi ac adapters are available from a wide network of stores throughout Greece. The suggested retail price of the individual adapters is €74.90 and €129.90 respectively, while the Starter Kits of these new Powerline adapters are available for €129.90 and €189.90 (including VAT).
