The now-famous group of young hackers, called Crackas With Attitude (CWA), which gained fame from the breach of the personal emails of the director and deputy director , now has other important and sensitive data in its hands.
The group Crackas With Attitudeclaims to have gained access to a government portal through which one can access:
- Arrest data
- Tools for sharing information about terrorist attacks and active shooters
The system in question, known as Joint Automated Booking System (JABS), is only available to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), law enforcement, and police.
In addition, the Crackas With Attitube group reports that it has also gained access to another tool, which is something like an online chat system between the FBI and other law enforcement agencies located in the US.
Two days ago, CWA published on Pastebin and Cryptobin, a portion of the data it has in its hands with names, email addresses, and phone numbers for approximately 3,500 people serving in law enforcement and military units.
The hacking group has not yet provided the data of those who have been arrested in the US from time to time, but to prove that it has this information in its hands, it provided a screenshot (see photo at the beginning of this article) of the JABS application, which appears to be true.
This information is considered particularly sensitive because it could expose confidential police informants, and the hacking group could actually do damage to the authorities by releasing this information.
