Have you seen Edward Snowden lately? The man who shook up the internet with his revelations about the actions of the US National Security Agency (NSA), Edward Snowden, has finally got a Twitter account.
Apparently, the microblogging social network conducted research to verify that the account belongs to the real Edward Snowden.
His first tweet was a simple “Can you hear me?”
Of course, the first thing anyone will notice is that Mr. Edward Snowden only follows one Twitter account. Guess who? The NSA's.
Snowden has been a fugitive for more than two years, after leaking secrets from the US National Security Agency. He has been living in Russia since then.
Two months ago, several people asked the White House to pardon Snowden but it was rejected.
Snowden has not had access to the public until now, but with his Twitter account, we will probably hear more from him. Who knows, maybe the next revelation will come from Twitter.
