With Microsoft's shift to Windows as a Service, the company has also changed the way it announces Windows 10 updates.
The company has stopped providing information about what the updates contain and says it will only provide more details if they include something important. 
Of course, the company at this point doesn't think so much about the end user, who believes that whatever you install on their PC is important.
But it turns out that it uses the exact same strategy in Windows 7.
Microsoft has just released an update via Windows Update for Windows 7 that claims to bring improvements. What kind of improvements these are, no one knows except for Microsoft, which once again provides updates without providing the information about them.
KB3083324 is aimed at systems running Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 and according to the company: “contains some improvements to Windows Update”.
Obviously the strategy the company is following is not the best approach, given that everyone needs to know what is being implemented on their computers.
Meanwhile, Microsoft doesn't seem willing to change anything about it.
