The CEO of Disney, Bob Iger made an interesting announcement at the company's D23 Expo: Disney is preparing to build a massive park themed around Star Wars in two different Disneyland locations.
Iger said that it will be the biggest single expansion topics in the company's history. Thus Disneyland in Anaheim, California and Disney World in Orlando, Florida will expand by 14 acres as two new Star Wars parks will be built.
No addition was mentioned for the company's park in Paris. Star Wars is probably a privilege of America, at least for now.
There will be two main attractions in the Star Wars world and in both parks.
In the first, visitors will be able to board the Millennium Falcon and fly on a “secret mission”, and in the other, visitors will be able to take part in the battle between the New Order and the resistance team of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Visitors will have the ability to travel with the characters of the classic trilogy, as well as the new ones who will also be present.
Iger did not mention an exact opening date for the Star Wars parks.
