Lenovo Smart Cast is a smartphone with a built-in projector that can turn any surface into a touchscreen.
The Lenovo Smart Cast was presented at the Lenovo Tech World conference and is distinguished from all other corresponding Smartphone proposals with a built-in projector that have appeared from time to time in the fact that DLP technology is not used here, but a new proposal, focus free laser.
Another interesting element in Lenovo's proposal is that there is a special stand so that the smartphone stands in a correct position and projects the image of a keyboard and not just in front of the user's hands.
Lenovo did not provide many details regarding its new device and its other technical features, but from the promo video it released, it is clear that the Smart Cast will have an Android operating system.
In any case, the small size of the projector module, its technology, the flexibility of its use, and the fact that it can create a touchscreen wherever it is used are interesting features in themselves.
We expect to see it find its way into commercial implementation, although Lenovo did not mention pricing.
