Recently, more and more companies are promoting their offerings in the rapidly growing field of mini-computing. That's why Asus couldn't stay out of the game, announcing the Asus E210, a tiny mini-PCthat looks like a... router!
The Asus E210, with dimensions of 219×172.5×29 mm and a weight of just 690 grams , is a mini system that can be transported and fits literally anywhere.
Inside the Asus laptop is an Intel SoC , which is distinguished by its efficiency and low power consumption. Specifically, the difficult task of processing goes through a dual-core Intel Celeron N2807 ( Bay Trail M ), which is clocked at 1.58GHz ( with a burst of 2.16GHz ).
In addition, its system memory is 2GB (it is expandable up to 4GB, but there is only one memory slot), while the Asus laptop can accept SSD hard drives up to 128GB.
In addition to the above, the Asus E210 has a 4-in-1 card reader , HDMI , VGA , microphone and headphone ports , one USB 3.0 and three USB 2.0 , while also supporting Ethernet , as well as Wi-Fi 802.11. b/g/n .
As for its operating system, the Asus E210 is expected to be released with Windows 8, Windows 7 or FreeDOS and Asus says that this is a product aimed at business users who run light office applications. However, looking at it, the truth is that it is so beautifully designed that it could well be your “second” PC.
Although the Taiwanese company has not yet announced anything regarding the price of the Asus E210, we believe that it will be somewhere around 180 to 200 euros.
