Intel's Meteor Lake-H series processors promise small gains in CPU performance compared to the previous generation Raptor Lake, but big improvements in integrated graphics. While many of the first Meteor Lake PCs announced were laptops, they are also starting to appear in Mini PCs.
The new ASRock NUC Ultra 100 Box and NUCS Ultra 100 Box mini PCs support up to an processor Core Ultra 7 155H, 96GB of RAM , and video output to four 4K displays. Both models have a similar design to the 4×4 NUC form factor, measuring 117.5 x 110mm. The main difference is that the NUC Ultra 100 BOX is 49mm tall and has space for a 2.5-inch hard drive or SSD, while the NUCS Ultra 100 Box is shorter at 38mm and does not support expansion. There are also differences in port selection.

ASRock offers models with a choice of Core 5 Ultra 125H processors with 14 cores and 18 threads or Core Ultra 7 155H with 16 cores and 22 threads. Both processors feature an integrated Intel Arc GPU for up to 2x the graphics performance compared to a previous generation Raptor Lake-P processor, making these ASRock Mini PCs suitable for light gaming and entry-level games, video editing or other tasks. However, if you want standalone graphics, you can use the single Thunderbolt 4 port to connect to a graphics dock or look for another computer.

Intel's Meteor Lake processors also feature a neural processing unit for ultra-fast AI tasks and calculations, enabling Windows Studio Effects for video calling, accelerated digital photo/video editing , and other cutting-edge AI applications.
ASRock has not announced how much these systems will cost or when they will be available for purchase, but the company has published detailed specifications for all models.
ASRock is one of the first companies to unveil Mini PCs with Meteor Lake processors, but we're likely to see more in the near future. Chinese computer company MECHREVO recently introduced the iMini Pro, similar in appearance to the Mac Mini, with a Core Ultra 5 125H processor for the Chinese market.
