“Whether working, learning, streaming, gaming or creating on the go, people are looking for even more performance and increased battery life from their PCs, taking full advantage of the artificial intelligence capabilities that are increasingly embedded in operating systems and applications,” Intel said. “The AI PC represents a new generation of personal computers that meets this demand.”
The company said the new Core Ultra processors will be integrated into more than 230 AI PCs worldwide, including from HP Inc. and Dell Technologies Inc.
Core Ultra, based on technology , represents the company's biggest architectural change in 40 years and features advanced packaging technology. Intel says the new Efficient cores (E-cores), as well as low-power Efficient cores (LP E-cores), deliver performance that is up to 11 percent better than competitors.
Intel also announced its new fifth-generation Xeon chips, saying they offer customers "more compute and faster memory with the same power as the previous generation."
