Google today released a network security checker tool called Nogotofail. The open-source project is aimed at developers and security researchers so they can check their devices and apps for TLS or SSL certificate verification vulnerabilities.
The Nogotofail app was created by the Android Security team and works with any device that can connect to the Internet, regardless of the operating system it’s running, exposing network issues that could make data transfers insecure.
It is available from GitHub and you can try it out.
The Notgotofail application contains a man-in-the-middle (MITM) technique that allows monitoring of TCP traffic passing through the application or network you want to test.
