Those still mourning the loss of the highly addictive Flappy Bird game, which was retired by its creator last month, will probably be happy to hear that the game's creator Dong Nguyen has said he is considering bringing it back to the App Store.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Nguyen mentioned that there is a possibility of re-releasing it: “I’m thinking about it.”
The game's creator, from Vietnam, had mysteriously removed the app from release, despite it earning him $55,000 in ad revenue every day. The app was first released in May 2013 and topped the Apple App Store and Google Play.
But the stress of success was probably too much for the app's creator. So on February 8th, he announced in two tweets that he was going to "download" the app in 22 hours.
