Google has been sending out notifications through its Gmail app for iOS informing users that a bug may have caused important messages to be deleted. A new version of the Gmail app for iOS has been released shortly after.
Titled “Important Announcement,” Google stated that “You may have been affected by a recent issue that occurred in Gmail.” You can read the rest in the photo above.
The company promised to fix the problem, which occurred between January 15 and 22, and suggests checking your recycle bin and spam folders
