Google had promised to make Google Glass compatible with prescription glasses. This means that the company will allow the addition of lenses. As it turns out, Google has made good on its promise, providing four different frames, priced at $225 each.
The frame is separate and costs $1,500. However, Google's release of different fronts was a key requirement before the launch of Google Glass as consumers might prefer different lenses in their glasses.
The Verge tested the new 'Titanium collection' - which was designed by Google - and found it to be "surprisingly good", however, the battery on the right side of the frame can be annoying.
The four new frames are available in eight colors. Google says the new frames and colors will provide over 40 different style combinations for would-be Glass owners.
