The YotaPhone is an Android smartphone that features an LCD on one side and an e-ink display on the other. It will be released in international markets before the end of the year.
Unlike traditional smartphones, the YotaPhone's dual-screen design allows users to view content using the custom e-ink display on the back. The company claims this has a much greater impact on overall battery life than using just an LCD display.
The YotaPhone runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2, has a dual-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, the front display is 4.3 inches with 720×1280 pixels and the rear is 4.3 inches with 360×640 EPD.
Despite having already been announced in Russia, the YotaPhones will be released internationally in the first week of December, according to TNW.
