A Chinese website, the WeiPhone forum, has published a photo showing a plastic box for the packaging of the “iPhone 5C.”
The photo shows something that is hard to believe, but why not. Apple has apparently named its “cheap” model the “iPhone 5C,” which of course does not rule out the future release of the expected iPhone 5S.
The iPhone 5C, on the other hand, is expected to come with a plastic (polycarbonate) chassis, and features that match those of the iPhone 5.
Plastic packaging is something that the "ecological" Apple is not used to. But in the face of cost reduction, who cares about ecology?.
As for the 5C, the “C” probably stands for Color, as previous rumors have suggested that Apple will release the low-cost iPhone in blue, red, green, yellow, and white.
