The administrators of the popular torrent index KickassTorrents have announced the launch of their website's .onion URL. Now, in addition to the main service, you can also access the dark web at the KAT via this address: lsuzvpko6w6hzpnn.onion
Torrent sharing websites usually struggle to survive against court rulings and obstacles thrown at them. To fight back against all of them, KickassTorrents, the world's most popular torrent index, has decided to dive into the deep... and dark parts of the web!
The website's administrators have added a dark web address and finally have their own .onion TOR URL. This means that, as a backup to the main service, the website now also has a presence on the dark web.

This news comes in the wake of The Pirate Bay's return to its original .ORG domain name following its court case. The site can also be accessed via the .onion URL uj3wazyk5u4hnvtk.onion
It looks like KickassTorrents was inspired by this and is now accessible via the backup .onion URL, namely lsuzvpko6w6hzpnn.onion
If you have never visited a website with a .onion domain name, then we should inform you that Onion links can only be accessed through the TOR web browser.
The user response to this news has been mostly positive. Users have warmly welcomed KAT to the dark web and called the news amazing!
Additionally, KickassTorrents recently announced the introduction of two-factor authentication, making it the first torrent website to have this service.
