Microsoft's assistant - Cortana will highlight with her presence the changes in the Windows 10 anniversary update that will be made to the Xbox console!
Microsoft recently announced the first major update for Windows 10 – known as the “anniversary update.” And now that the Xbox One is technically a Windows 10 machine, it should get some new features, beyond entertainment.
Many of these new features are intended to make the console more user-friendly.

The most notable addition is full Cortana integration. Now to turn on your console, you'll have to say "Hey Cortana, Xbox On." All previously supported Xbox commands will still work, but you'll have to first say "hey Cortana" to get your assistant's attention and then state what you want to do.
Perhaps most importantly, Cortana's intelligence is used in the game when using voice commands. In a demo we tested, we were able to say "hey Cortana, I wanna play Killer Instinct." The assistant was smart enough to find all of the installed games in the library, which contained several "Killer Instinct" titles, and asked which one the user wanted. Saying "the first one" launched the first title on the list.
This is a definite improvement over the current system, which requires you to say the exact title to launch the appropriate game – which can be a bit tricky at times. The system is also smart enough to parse spoken phrases like “I wanna”. It’s also smart enough to let you string together multiple commands in one sentence. You can say “hey Cortana, invite Terry to a party” and it will automatically create the party and send the invitation – two separate commands that it can parse as one.
