According to a new report by a major foreign news portal, Microsoft is expected to announce its partnership with Canonical, which will bring Ubuntu to Windows 10.
With this innovation, users will be able to run Ubuntu on a Windows operating system. This will essentially make Ubuntu a part of Windows 10, and not just a virtual machine.

No details have been revealed yet regarding this “marriage.” It is expected that Ubuntu will run on top of Windows libraries. It should be noted that Microsoft is “quietly” introducing us to a Linux subsystem in the new Windows 10 Redstone build.

This combination of Windows 10 and Ubuntu will be aimed at developers. Linux fans should not expect Ubuntu to have its own Unity interface. Microsoft's target audience is developers, not desktop users.
