Turkish hackers accessed the Instagram of Russia's Minister of Communications and Mass Media, Nikolai Nikiforov.

Cyber events are closely related to real-life events in many cases. Differences between countries are linked to many cyber events that could be analyzed by relevant analysts.
This incident is a follow-up to the crisis that has erupted between Turkey and Russia following the downing of the Russian jet. Russia accuses the Turkish government of supporting ISIS and participating in oil smuggling.
In the online space now, Turkish hackers have begun attacks on Russian targets, with the latest being the Turkish hacking group The Börteçine Cyber Team, which gained access to the Instagram account of a Russian minister this morning.
Börteçine Cyber Team replaced images of Minister Nikolai Nikiforov with images of the Turkish flag, the downed Russian Su-24 jet and a portrait of Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Turkish republic. Beneath each photo is the caption “Hacked by Bortecine Siber Tim.”

As of the time of writing this article, the hackers still have control of the account.
The attack came just days after another Turkish hacking group called Ayyildiz announced its intention to attack Russian websites. The same group claimed to have compromised one of the websites run by Anonymous.
On the other hand, Anonymous claimed responsibility for the attacks on nearly half a million Turkish domains in early December in a series of major DDoS attacks. Anonymous has declared war on Turkey for its alleged support for ISIS.
