The research that revealed this was done by the University of Surrey and the moral is this:

The germs that accumulate on your hands and everything you touch during the day, on your cell phone screen, are so numerous that they will make you cringe. They may not be deadly, but they are a very good basis for the spread of diseases and various infections.
