Avidemux, a free video designed with simple operations, filtering, and encoding to support many file types, including AVI, DVD, MP4, and ASF, is now released in version 2.6.7.
There are few versions of Avidemux, which is not a good thing because it is a top-notch software with multiple options.
According to its developers, searching in h264 files has been improved, a split on NALU boundaries (it was disabled by one byte) has been fixed, support for AAC/LC/SBR has been added, and the handling of PCM/8Bits tracks has been fixed.
Also, the import of bmp and jpg images has been fixed, support for newer cmakes (ajschult) has been added, RPM generation has been improved, and various scripts have been fixed.
A full list of changes can be found in the official announcement. Please note that the software is available on multiple platforms.
