It's been a busy year for Android app developers!
This year we had a new operating system and mobile payment platform, not to mention all the latest devices that have been released. Above all, some of the apps that came out in 2015 have become our favorites.
We have selected the 12 best to present to you:
Adobe Photoshop Lightroom
Lightroom , but the mobile version is a must-have for amateurs too. The Android, which unlike the desktop version doesn't require a Creative Cloud subscription, is very useful for color correction, cropping, adding filters, and many other functions.
Apple Music
While it's not technically Apple's first Android app, it's the first time the company has allowed users to access iTunes via their Android device.
Cardboard Camera
If you're curious about virtual reality, then Google Cardboard is undoubtedly the easiest way to get your hands on it. The Cardboard Camera makes the experience more interactive by allowing you to take your own 360-degree photos.
Crossy Road

Cross Road was one of our favorite games on iOS in 2014, so we were happy when the Android version came out. The endless runner is addictive and very enjoyable, you can play for hours.
Google Photos

This is probably the best photo management app. It automatically creates copies of your device's photos, organizes them, and lets you search for them by keywords, objects depicted in the photo, and when they were taken. And most importantly, there is no annoying storage limit!
HBO Now

A dream come true. HBO has finally made it possible to watch our favorite shows without a subscription. The app has all episodes of Silicon Valley, Game of Thrones, The Wire, and all the rest of the channel's series.
Inbox

Google surprised us this year by releasing a new email app. The app aims to make your inbox easier to manage, and it succeeds. The app groups similar messages together, highlights the most important parts of your messages, and can even write some replies for you.
Microsoft Word

Microsoft has brought its office suite to Android and we admit that it is as good as it is on iOS.
Office Lens

Microsoft's document scanning app is the best of its kind. Take a photo of a business card, documents, or even whiteboard notes and the app will convert it into editable text. It can also convert to PDF, Word, or Powerpoint documents.
VLC

VLC media player can handle any video or audio file. It plays both files you have on your device and streaming and supports subtitles. And most importantly, it is ad-free.
Yahoo Video Guide

Do you have thousands of streaming services but don't know what to watch? Yahoo Video Guide can help. Select the services you use and search for content based on keywords, genre, or your mood.
