Google App Engine for the PHP language has removed the beta tag and is now at GA level, that is, ( General Availability ), available on Google Cloud .
The first official announcement was made at the Google I/O developer conference in 2013, where it was stated that the new App Engine would allow developers to run PHP using Google's Cloud infrastructure.
There are several advantages to using Google App Engine (GAE) to deliver applications, the most important of which is improved speed, an area where Google has been actively involved with its own products, also helping developersimprove their applications.
There is also better security, a fact that makes GAE suitable for production use, together with the flexibility it has especially when it comes to switching between various services with extensibility such as NoSQL databases, cache systems, and APIs for user authentication.
The first version of Google App Engine was released for developers in Python , followed by versions for Java, Go, and the latest for PHP.
Currently, about 800 million queries are being processed in PHP, which makes the latest version of GAE the most successful of Google.
