Mozilla wants to reverse the situation, which is why it is preparing its counterattack, with three goals: “Uncompromised Quality”, “Best of the Web” and “Uniquely Firefox”, meaning quality without compromises and unique features aimed at the best online quality.
Mozilla's three goals for the "new" Firefox
1. With “Uncompromised Quality”, Mozilla is targeting plugins and various add-ons, as many can be integrated into the browser, while it is not ruled out that many will be removed.
2. With “Uniquely Firefox,” Mozilla wants to focus on improving the features that Firefox already has and have contributed to its popularity, while improving the overall user experience.
3. Mozilla doesn't exactly say what it means by "Best of the Web." Some people associate the phrase with Pocket, which users can't uninstall.
Finally, a new email sent to developers states the company's intention to redesign the browser externally [appearance-design], but also internally [code].
