The Climate Portal : Stockholm Arlanda Airport is preparing a new innovative service that will help those who travel frequently to different parts of the world. The service will inform passengers about the weather conditions they will find at their destination.
According to CNN, the Stockholm airport has installed a weather simulator that will provide travelers with information about the weather conditions at their destination before they even arrive there.

The new service, a simulation chamber, Climate Portal, is expected to be operational by the end of August and will use real-time data from around the world. Some of the simulation chamber tools will include wind turbines, temperature control systems, as well as audio-visual recognition to better convey the experience of hot and dry deserts and frozen landscapes.
According to the airport's communications arm, Climate Portal, the climate chamber is described as a "direct link to the entire planet" aimed at helping passengers prepare for the weather they will encounter at their destination. It also serves as a preview of the destination, so you know whether you will need an extra sweater or sunglasses and a hat.
