Rumors are circulating that Apple is already preparing the iPhone 7
Despite the fact that Apple only released the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus a few months ago, rumors have it preparing its next smartphone, reportedly called the iPhone 7, according to an article by technology website The Inquirer.
The new iPhone, which is expected to be released next year, is expected to come in two versions, one with a 4.7-inch screen and one with a larger 5.5-inch screen. The device is also rumored to feature a curved display, like the one used on Samsung's Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.
According to a report by the Inquirer, the phone will incorporate the new - as yet unreleased - version of the company's operating system, iOS 9, which is expected to be presented at Apple's WWDC conference to be held in June.
According to the same information, the new mobile phone will have many similarities with previous models, especially in terms of its external appearance. The device will feature an OLED screen, like the one used in the Apple Watch, with technology to protect the surface from scratches.
As for the internals, it is speculated that the next iPhone will incorporate the TSMC A9 chip and 2GB of RAM. It will be available in 3 versions with 16GB, 64GB and 128GB of storage.
According to information, there will be a big difference in the resolution of the device's camera, since it is speculated that Apple will choose Sony's new Exmoor RS sensor, with a resolution of 21Mpixels.
As reported in the publication, the device is expected to be presented at a special event next September, however, it is speculated that Apple may proceed with the release of the iPhone 7 in August.
So far the company has not made any announcement regarding the name, availability, or price of the "new" device.
