iPhone processor from Samsung
Bloomberg report wants Korean company to take over production of A9s
Although there is no official information yet, it is rumored that Samsung will be the one to design and produce the A9 processors for the next-generation iPhone, according to a Bloomberg report.
Such a move shows Apple's desire to return to a manufacturer to which it had previously entrusted the production of an A-series chip.
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) is the company that manufactured the A8, which is the heart of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
By choosing Samsung to produce the A9 processors, Apple is trying to take advantage of the production method of 14nm processors, which will work at lower temperatures and help save your battery power.
This rumor is the latest of many that have been written in the past about Samsung's production of the A9.
