Companies that technically support electronic tax mechanisms will now be able to submit electronically to the General Secretariat of Public Revenue the declaration for the notification of the interruption of the operation of tax mechanisms due to a malfunction.
In order to better serve taxpayers by providing time to adapt their computer applications, the Secretary General of Public Revenue, Katerina Savvaidou, signed a decision by which companies that technically support or have the suitability license for tax electronic mechanisms will submit to Taxis an electronic declaration notifying the shutdown of tax mechanisms due to a failure of the tax memory.
The declaration will be submitted within 10 days of the cessation of the tax mechanism. Specifically, for the first quarter of 2015, the relevant declaration can be submitted until the end of April 2015.
