In fact, there are many who believe that PCs in the form we have known them for so many years will soon cease to exist. However, an analysis by the company Strategy Analytics comes to refute this theory, as according to the data collected by its analysts, in 2015 sales of “traditional” PCs are expected to increase by 5%.
The report states that, contrary to recent rumors, PCs are still valuable computing devices. In fact, according to Strategy Analytics, the growth of the PC market is set to continue in the coming years. According to the data from this interesting survey, desktop PCs are installed in 90% of households, while tablets are installed in 32%. At the same time, Strategy Analytics researchers believe that the arrival of Windows 10 next year is going to give a significant boost to the PC market, and many users are likely to replace their older machines in order to be able to run Microsoft's new operating system better.
Judging by the data from the aforementioned research, it becomes clear that PCs in the form we have known them for the last twenty years still have a lot to give to the world of new technologies. It is likely that their death will be a long time coming..
