The Stones family from Coventry, England was invited to spend 4 whole days without their favorite gadgets.
Specifically, they removed computers, tablets, smartphones, and game consoles, but left them with a television, the Wii (the only console that was excluded), and the radio.
In other words, they left them as many devices as would encourage them to spend time together as a family.
The experiment was supervised by Russell Beale, a professor of computer science at the University of Birmingham, who recorded its movements and changes in the behavior of its members.
How did they manage without their favorite gadgets? The mother took advantage of the opportunity to spend more and more creative time with her children.
The children, on the other hand, probably didn't know what to do without technology, as you can see in the particularly interesting BBC video below.
