Microsoft does almost everything right on the new mobile phone.
Every now and then, a mobile phone company manages to make a great model. Motorola did that with the Moto G, as did Microsoft (formerly Nokia) with the Lumia 730 and 735.
Last year, Nokia released nine phones, but only one showed amazing battery life and took incredible photos, thanks to its unusually large aperture (f1.9) lens.
This was the Lumia 720, the most expensive of Nokia's cheap series that were built with the Snapdragon 400 chipset. However, we can't say that it caught the attention of the buying public.
The trio of successes this year are the Lumia 730, in a single SIM and Dual Sim version, and the Lumia 735 with 4G support.
The Lumia 730 and 735 have a tough and rigid construction and a slim design. They feature a removable battery with longer life (2220 mAh), support for wireless charging, without the need for a USB charger, 1GB of RAM and finally the 735 4G comes equipped with a radio.
Although it looks similar to previous Nokia generations, such as the N9, Lumia 800, Lumia 900, with its square screen and “Fabula” design, which Nokia did not use in last year’s models, it has nothing to do with these models, which were characterized as “sealed”. In the new Lumia, we can now open the back and see the removable battery, nanoSIM card and memory card slot.
We're certainly not the only ones who got their hands on the new Lumia for presentation, and we were surprised when we realized that this isn't just another "sealed" mobile phone.
The team behind the new Lumia phones belongs to Microsoft, which still manages the Nokia. At least for now.
