iOS 8 is on 46% of devices

Apple has been releasing the new iOS 8 update for a week now. According to the company, the new operating system has been installed on 46% of devices!

Considering that it was launched just a week ago, the numbers are impressive. Furthermore, 49% of devices are running iOS 7, while only 5% are on older versions.

Apple's great success is also due to the fact that its platform is not as fragmented as Android's, thus making life easier for developers who work with it.
