Hundreds of revealing (and even nude) photos of Hollywood celebrities were leaked overnight, with the information allegedly stolen from their personal collections. Among them are Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Lea Michele, Kirsten Dunst and many other celebrities, whose photos were posted on 4chan.
While it is not yet clear how the personal photos were “stolen,” rumors suggest they came from a hack into their iCloud accounts . This is a huge leak that, if proven to have come from a hack into Apple’s cloud service, will certainly cause major “shocks.”
As for the photos, many of the celebrities were quick to declare that they are “fake”, while some others, including Jennifer Lawrence, confirmed through their representatives that they are real and will resort to every legal means to prosecute those who “stole” them. We will certainly have developments in the issue, which once again calls into question the security of the information we trust in cloud services, even large companies like Apple…
