There has been much discussion about the police procedure followed during and after the shooting of Michael Brown. Now, Anonymous is hoping to shed light on the case, which only the police know about.
It appears that the hacking group has the St. Louis Police Department videos in its possession.
Recently, Anonymous released a wealth of audio files from police dispatch and EMS calls made on the day of the shooting on Twitter, and posted hours of video on YouTube. “Anonymous has obtained audio files of police dispatch and EMS during the #MikeBrown shooting,” Anonymous said on its Twitter account @TheAnonMessage.
Brown, an unarmed teenager, was shot multiple times by a police officer in the city of Ferguson on Saturday. The shooting occurred at about 1:40 p.m. and police left Brown's lifeless body on the sidewalk for hours. Ferguson police have since been accused of racist practices and have become the focus of intense criticism and violent protests.
