Space Hellas has completed the upgrade and expansion of the Wi-Fi wireless network at Athens International Airport.
As stated in a relevant announcement, the project included the supply of equipment and provision of implementation services for the expansion of the wireless network to new points within the airport area, the replacement of old equipment with new 802.11n technology equipment and the upgrade of the network's central control system (WLAN Controllers).
With the completion of the project, Athens International Airport will provide high-quality wireless networking to a large number of users, with speeds of up to 450Mbps and the ability to use advanced video and voice applications over the Wi-Fi network.
