Embarrassment prevailed on a CNBC show when, during a discussion about homosexuals, a guest revealed that the CEO of Apple is gay.
The panel discussion was getting heated, with everyone talking about CEOs who have publicly admitted they are gay, when a guest who knows Tim Cook said that Steve Jobs' successor is gay.
He then tried to retract his statement: "Oh dear, was it my fault? I thought he had declared himself gay.".
The others continued the conversation as if nothing had happened without commenting on the controversial revelation.
In the recent past, Tim Cook stated in a speech that he has suffered discrimination, without however specifically mentioning his sexuality.
