Firefox OS, Mozilla mobile operating system, with little traction so far, is expanding to streaming devices for TVs, such as Google Chromecast.
Mozilla tested Firefox OS on a TV dongle similar to Google Chromecast, which allows streaming content from any device to the TV .
The open source nature of Firefox OS is evident in relation to Google's proposal, with developers having complete freedom to create applications, while the user can stream whatever material they wish.
