Intel launches its open source computer and cuts its price in half.
The Minnowboard Max features an “open” material design and is aimed at software development professionals and enthusiasts who want to code for the “deep-rooted” market.
Intel – although prices vary by vendor. Along with the price drop it comes with a more powerful Atom processor (64-bit Intel Atom E38xx Series SOC), Intel HD graphics and a minor overall upgrade to the machine itself.
