WhatsApp is preparing to release a new version for Windows Phone devices, which has already been released in beta to test some of these changes.
The latest version of WhatsApp Beta for Windows Phone is coming to devices running version 2.11.408 and features some attractive interface improvements, including better unread message counting.
However, additional changes found in the beta version of the app also affect the progress bar for video downloads.
Another change in the new version of the app is the fact that contacts with multiple phone numbers and a WhatsApp account will be able to see their accounts under a single contact card.
