The following advice was found by Associated Press correspondents in Timbuktu, the ancient city of Mali, and is believed to have been abandoned by extremist Islamists.

Placed in an envelope, the document is a copy of an advice text written under Abdullah bin Mohammed, a senior commander of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, the Telegraph newspaper reports.

Their accuracy is also confirmed by Col. Cedric Layton, a veteran of the US Air Force, who participated in setting up the surveillance program using flying surveillance robots.

-Hide under dense vegetation.

-Create fake gatherings of people, using dolls and dummies, with the aim of misleading the enemy.

-Place large pieces of highly reflective glass on the roof of the building.

-In areas that have been targeted as suspicious, use smoke from burning car tires, with the aim of confusing the enemy.

-Do not use communication equipment, as the enemy has the ability to voice identify the person.

-You can learn about the design and mission of the surveillance system through the use of the Russian-made "sky grabber", a device that allows interference with the system's radio waves and frequencies.

-Use frequency-transmitting devices to disconnect the contacts and confuse the frequencies used to control the monitoring system. The equally Russian-made "Racal" is recommended.
