Apple co-founder Steve Jobs was the one who established the idea of the company's high-cost gadgets over cheaper ones, which today turns out to be probably right.
Last month, Apple CEO Tim Cook unveiled the colorful iPhone 5c, the company's budget iPhone. But the budget smartphone has so far sold fewer units than its more expensive sibling, the 5s.
According to data from three market research firms, for the past two weeks, Apple's expensive model has outsold the cheaper 5c by a ratio of 2 to 1.
