The popular strategy game Civilization VII is set to launch on Apple Arcade today, allowing Apple Arcade subscribers to play on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

The Apple Arcade version of Sid Meier's Civilization VII includes the experience of the base Civilization VII game, with support for mouse, controller, and intuitive touch controls. Players take on the role of one of history's many legendary leaders, aiming to build the greatest empire the world has ever known.

Players will build cities and control armies to expand their territory, conquering or collaborating with rival civilizations for the resources they need to evolve and discover new technological innovations. Multiplayer is not supported at launch and additional DLC expansions are not available. Large map sizes are limited to devices with at least 8GB of RAM.
Along with Civilization VII, Apple Arcade is also getting the musical rhythm adventure Felicity's Door, the puzzle game I Love Hue Too+ , and the classic arcade video game Retrocade. Retrocade is available on Vision Pro as well as iPhone and iPad.

Apple Arcade is Apple's subscription gaming service, priced at $6.99 per month. The service allows up to six family members to share one subscription, and the games don't include in-app purchases or ads.
